Indonesian wildlife

Some of the more interesting Indonesian animals are:

• Sumatran tiger
• Sumatran elephant
• Komodo dragon
• beruk, a relatively large monkey often trained to pick coconuts
  • An interesting short documentary about an Indonesian man and his coconut picking monkey is on http://vimeo.com/8579899
  • Monkey Trained to Pick Coconuts from YouTube, 3:57. There is no description so I don't know if this is in Indonesia, it might be Thailand.
• Birds of paradise (also found in other countries)
  • "Dancing Birds of Paradise" from BBC's Wild Indonesia series
• "Badak Jawa", Javan or one-horned rhino (Rhinoceros sondaicus) lives in Ujung Kulon National Park in West Java
  • Video trap footage on YouTube from DiscoveryNetworks
• The smaller badak sumatra or two-horned rhino (Dicerorhinus sumatrensis)
